Review: KJM Cheek and Lip Stain

Who doesn't love lip tints now a days? So I'm excited to try this KJM Lip Stain and I got the shade "Blood Shoot" from Pretty Angel Shoppe. Unfortunately I forgot but I believe it's very affordable. Check out their shop here. You may also want to drop by at Pop Culture Trinoma. 

I believe KJM Cheek and Lip Stain has 10 shades to choose from and these are Bewitched, Tango, Fused, Summer Kiss, Girl Tak, Dolled, Bittersweet Magenta, Vibe, Pink Puff, and Bloodshot.

This Cheek and Lip Tint Contains 10ML of product.

The packaging comes in a small acrylic tube with a roller ball as an applicator. It's the same as the other cheek and lip tint or stain that you've seen and it also has the sticker on it and the shade name. 

They also include the ingredients of the product.

Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, May contain Red 40, Red 2 and 3, Blue 1 and 2, Citric Acid, Erythrosine Red, Yellow 5 and less than 1/10 of 1% Sodium Benzoate & Potassium Sorbate, Propylene Glycol

Claims: KJM Cosmetics Cheek Lip Stains are meant to enhance natural tones, this explains why stains may look different from one person to another. Results depend on how much stain put in too. The colors will develop overtime, making the stain look more natural and beautiful.

This is how the tint looks like on me. I didn't use it on my cheeks because I just had rashes on my face. I hope I give justice on this photo. As I've said I'm in the process of getting nice quality camera. 

I already applied the lip tint for 3 hours. 

After I had breakfast I took a photo of it. I ate Grilled Pork Chop and drunk lots of water. It still looks good on me I didn't retouch after.

My Thoughts

The formulation of this is lip stain is a thin liquid. It looks natural on the lips good for everyday specially when I don't feel applying lipstick on my lips and it is not drying. It didn't emphasize the dryness of my lips as well. This lip tint has a minimal transfer also but still looks good after all. It doesn't have any scent and it also has a sweet flavor when I accidentally tasted the tint (if you know what I mean) Just be careful in applying because you might taste it also. It is also easy to apply I suggest that apply a little amount on the lips then spread it with your ring finger. For the opacity of this product you just need to build up to if you want more pigmentation of the product. Added to that I can say that it is long lasting no touch up needed. This is perfect if you want to achieve that "no makeup makeup look". Lakas maka fresh!

Review: in2it Oil Control & Oil Free Face Powder

I know this product has been too old for everyone but still I want to share my thoughts about it. So I got my self the in2it Oil Control & Oil Free Face Powder. Luckily this was on sale for a 10% off I got it only for P386.00 from P400.00+ at Landmark Trinoma.

I got myself in the shade "Soft Beige" or OCP 01

This product claims to have an extra sheer face powder using silica for oil & shine control. Made with SoSoft Powder Processing System to give an ultra soft face powder. Tested to a level of SPF15 against UVB rays and PA++ against UVA rays. It also contains 90% natural ingredients, no fragrance and oil free with Vitamin E for moisture. It also contains 7g of the product.

Application: Apply to your face by using a dry sponge.

Lips: Detail Simply Matte Lipstick in "Moody"

This is how it looks like on my face. I applied this for 5 hours. I also didn't apply moisturizer and primer. By the way I have rashes on my face for like 1 week already. 

My thoughts

I have an oily combination skin. I'm just a bit oily and super drying cheeks. I'm really liking this product. I didn't know why I just purchased this so late. I like how it matifies my face and it didn't give any dry patches. I didn't look cake-y at all. Which is very good for me. I also like that this product has a light coverage. It doesn't have a smell. Since, I'm just inside the office I didn't re-apply the face powder and surprisingly I'm not oily on my T-zone. Over all, I am liking the performance of this product I know it's too early to tell but it really does the job of getting an oil free face. This product will be included to my must-haves makeup. Even thought its pricy it is worth the pay.

Review: Detail Simply Matte Lipstick in Bitchy by Cosmetix Unlimitted

I just purchased three (3) lipsticks from Detail Make Over and it's their Simply Matte Lipstick and I would like to share my thoughts about it.

So here how it goes. Simply Matte Lipstick has 12 shades from nude, to red and they are Moody, Lovely, Silly, Empty, Guilty, Flirty, Clumsy, Bitchy, Naughty, Heavy, Dizzy and Crazy. I got mine in Lovely, Bitchy and Moody for P145.00 each at "beautymnl" I believe they also have physical stores check out this link. 

Detail Simply Matte Lipstick claims that it is

• Highly pigmented 
• Matte
• Not drying on the lips
• Easy to apply

Detail Simply Matte Lipstick by Cosmetix Unlimited in "Bitchy"

the product contains 4.2G

I like the packaging its a matte black tube that has Simple Matte logo on it and the product is really secured on the cap. At the bottom you can see the shade and its name. 

This is how it looks like on my lips. It has a bluish red tone on it. I hope I can give justice on the photo. I'm still currently in the process of getting a nice quality.

My thoughts 

The only down side for me about this product is the application. I didn't like the shape of the bullet its a rounded tip not like the other bullet that has a pointed tip which is much easy to apply. For this I had a hard time shaping my cupid's bow. Other than that I like the pigmentation, with just one swipe you'll get the color pay off that you want. The formula is creamy and matte it is really not drying on the lips. It also has a fruity smell but its not bothering. Honestly, I didn't expect too much on this product. I didn't know that it will perform well on my lips. But hey! this is so worth trying. I will surely get some more shades. So if you are on a budget and you want a lipstick that is creamy matte and high pigmentation. Then what are you waiting for go and grab the Detail Simply Matte Lipstick.

Review: Cucumber Hydrating Mist

Today's review is about an essential for dry skin. I have been dying to try products that would make my face dewy because I can't seem to bare seeing my face so dry and it tends to cake my makeup on. So that's why I purchased this Cucumber Hydrating Mist by Faith.Hope.Love Shop.

This Cucumber Hydrating Mist claims that it can reduce the appearance of fine lines and imperfections.

It is also good for Hydrating, Moisturizing, Glowing, Pore Refining, Anti-Acne, Gentle Whitening

It contains 50ML of product for only P160.00 and they also have 100ML for P300.00.  

Application: Apply the mist every Morning and Afternoon, after cleansing, spray all over face and neck avoiding eye and mouth areas.

This product contains a natural ingredients like:

• Aloe Vera Leaf Juice
• Cucumber Hydrosol,
• Sea Buckthorn Oil
• Jojoba Oil
• Witch Hazel
• Rosemary
• Neem Oil

About this product

This product can also be used as your toner to minimize the pores and prep your skin before applying makeup, But for me considering that I really have a dry skin (it's been my problem ever since) I used it as my moisturizer after I wash my face with my facial cleanser. I like how it hydrates my face it really makes my skin smooth. I also tried using this mist all over my makeup and it doesn't emphasize the dryness on my face, it doesn't affect your make up and it didn't look cake-y at all. However, the formula is like a water it is very light weight and It doesn't sting on my face. Added to that I didn't have any breakout. It also has a fruity scent not really a cucumber but its fine with me because the formula is nice.
  

The package comes with a spray and hard plastic bottle. I was just shocked when I spritz the product on my first try because it really has a hard pressure on it, that's why when I used it again I dispense it on the palm of my hands and spread it on my face. You may also use a cotton pads for applying.

Overall, this product is helpful for dry skin. It will definitely make your skin smooth and hydrated. One of my must-haves skin care. If you want to purchase just click this link and check out their products.

Review: Colourette Cosmetics Brooke

I've been hearing Colourette Cosmetics before on social media but I never thought that I would get one. I didn't bought this just because of Michelle Dy I also want to make it a try so I got myself in the shade "brooke" which I bought last weekend at Manila Sundance Bazaar for a promo of P399.00 originally P499.00. And here are my thoughts about the product.

Colourette Cosmetics has one lip liner and 19 shades to choose from nude to dark and these are:

The product claims that it moisturizes and hydrates the lips and vibrantly beautiful. It also says that this Colourstick is the perfect definition of love at first swipe because of the pigmentation.

Packaging: The tube is the same like any other lipstick and it contains 4g of the product. It is a plastic black tube with a printed name of the brand on the cap and the shade name at the bottom of the tube. You can also see the shade of the product at the bottom. It also has a nice scent like a chocolate but it is not bothering. 

Sorry for the lighting. I'm still in the process of buying good lighting and quality camera. But that's how it looks on me. It is a deep brown color. By the way I didn't apply lip balm.

Below here is the swatch of the Colourstick

Formula: With just one swipe you'll get the opacity of the color and as you can see it is a deep brown color also it has a creamy matte finish. What I did was I blot it with a tissue paper and top with a translucent setting powder to make it more matte.

This is what it looks after eating. I already ate Burrito for breakfast and Roast Pork for my lunch. I also applied this for 7hours already. It also has a minimal transfer. I hope I can give justice with this picture. 

For my final thoughts of this product, I can say that aside from the price it is worth trying. I am very satisfied with the product the only thing its expensive. I want to try other shades like Austin and Dakota. I will repurchase this for sure but I need to save money first. If you are into a creamy matte lipstick which has a little bit sheen on it better try this. This product will not make your lips dry just make sure to exfoliate your lips night before applying and be careful because it is very pigmented.

Meet and Greet with Michelle Dy

My boyfriend and I went to Manila Sundance Bazaar last September 3rd and Yeeeees! Here's the link on the stuffs I got. I finally a chance to meet Michelle Dy!!! :) and I was literally in front of her. 

All the girls went crazy when she came out. I can't express how happy I am. When the lady from Colourette Cosmetics called my name to have a picture with Michelle Dy I was so speechless. I was overwhelmed when she hugged me. All I did was to say Thank You and (kilig at the moment) She was so nice and very approachable. She's kalog like what you seen on her blogs.

She's the very fist Filipina youtuber that I watched since 2014. I can't even believe that I had photos and autograph with mamshi Michelle Dy on my phone.

 

I promised her to send the lipstick that I'm wearing from Pinkies Collection :)

Before I'm just watching them on Michelle's vlogs and now I'm with them. :))) #MamshieSquad 

This wouldn't be happen without Colourette Cosmetics. Thank You for giving us the chance to meet Michelle Dy and the gang. It's a dream for every Filipina. Meeting her was an achievement for me it is one of my bucket list. ;)
